The process is standardized, with each round of review taking 1-3 months. The quality of the reviews is very high, making it worth submitting. 
1. Submitted in June 2024. 
2. Rejected in September 2024, allowed to resubmit. 
3. Revised and resubmitted in November 2024. 
4. Major revision required in January 2025. 
5. Revised version uploaded in March 2025. 
6. Accepted in April 2025. 
The entire process takes around 10 months, requiring a lot of effort and being very tiring.

During the initial review, one of the three reviewers had very unfriendly comments. A 29-page response letter was written for the revisions, and there was a constant worry about being rejected by this reviewer. However, to the surprise of the author, all three reviewers in the second round indicated that the comments were perfectly addressed, and the paper was accepted without further revisions.
