The supervisor insisted on submitting to a top journal, but provided no guidance at all. They didn't even read the article, just asked for it to be reformatted for submission. I am speechless. Yes, Xiaoxiu went back to the "under review" status consistently for a long period of time. Some classmates have experienced this as well, with the "under review" status lasting for 3 months. Basically, Xiaoxiu can start urging for the manuscript after 3 months.

It has been 5 and a half months since the third round of reviews and still no results. Should I consider pushing for a decision? Will pushing for a decision increase the chances of rejection? I have not pushed for a decision yet.
