November 29, 2025: Initial submission, returned for resubmission on December 17, 2025 (exceeded page limit, requested to be under 10 pages);
December 20, 2025: Assigned AE, In Peer Review;
March 10, 2026: First review result RQ (emailed the editorial office in early March to inquire about progress, both the editorial office and AE replied to the email), 6 reviewers, given 6 weeks to make revisions;
April 18, 2026: Submitted revised manuscript, entered second review, In Peer Review;
May 27, 2026: Accepted.

The allocation is AE: Wang, Zheng but GE: Not Assigned. What does it mean when GE: Not Assigned is not allocated? Will it be desk rejected later or has it already been sent for review? What does it mean to be in all uppercase "In Peer Review"? Is there a difference in case for this journal? How long does the first review usually take? Is the rejection rate for the first review high? Can someone please provide an answer?

At the speed of a normal person, without relying on connections or big shots. The speed was too slow, with a review period of a full 14 months, but considering the face of CCF-A, we forgave it (not really).
