What do you think you're doing? I only just got back to AE, and both times I resubmitted, it went straight to the EIC, who then sent it back to the In review process. This means that even though the results were already out, the editor-in-chief still wants to find new reviewers for me. And this has happened twice. It would have been better if they just rejected me.

After three major revisions, each taking 6 weeks, which were quite agonizing and also involved adding new reviewers twice due to some reviewers leaving;
A lot of content was changed, causing the page count to increase to 15 pages, resulting in additional page charges;
But fortunately, the outcome was positive. This is probably the longest I have spent on a TPE paper, going through three rounds of major revisions. Interestingly, during the second round, four out of five reviewers agreed to accept the paper, but the AE still decided on a major revision...
This was the final big idea from my PhD, and finally getting accepted after starting work. It is also my tenth SCI paper in my life. Wishing all my fellow readers good luck. Let's hope for a successful year of publishing in 2026.
Also, hoping that TPEL can gain some momentum and increase its impact factor, following the success of neighboring journals TTE and TVT.
