The manuscript submitted in November 2024 was reviewed for three months, and a major revision was requested in February. It was resubmitted in May but the second review was not completed until early October. I'm not sure if it was because I pushed for it. The second review resulted in a complete rejection without any substantial feedback. It's quite frustrating, to say the least.

The period of "Notification of final decision in progress" was quite long, not sure what was going on, but overall it was still quite fast. My response to the major revision was very thorough, addressing 6 issues in 19 pages, and finally received the request for minor revision.
