Extremely slow, the first review took 5 months, major revisions were required. The second review took 8 months, with the addition of new reviewers after the first review was approved. The extensive revisions during the second review process in an open-access journal have reached an unbearably low level of efficiency. It is truly outrageous. The decision has been made to withdraw the submission and cut the losses in a timely manner.
