The impact factor of CJA is indeed high, but in terms of recognition within the aerospace industry, AIAA J is considered to be better. If one is not a scholar strongly related to this field, CJA's impact factor is indeed superior, and it is recommended to submit to CJA, as the review process is also faster.

Last year, I published an article which I personally believe is one of the top journals in the field of aerospace, second only to "Progress in Aerospace Science". However, the impact factor is not strong enough. This year, it fell to Q2 and was surpassed by AST and CJA. It was even surpassed by MDPI's "Aerospace". However, internationally, AIAA Journal is still more recognized. Recently, I submitted another article and hope it gets accepted.
