Actually, by carefully revising according to the opinions of editors and reviewers, we also have the opportunity to transfer our manuscript from another journal. 
On July 9th, we submitted the manuscript; 
On July 18th, it was rejected by the editor due to high similarity with our first experiment, and we were asked to resubmit. At this time, the editor clearly stated that our manuscript did not quite fit the direction of the journal, but if we persisted, he would send it for review, with a high probability of being transferred (because this manuscript had been submitted since November last year, rejected 23 times, and revised countless times, with the aim of obtaining valuable review opinions to improve the quality of the paper). We all agreed to submit it for review. 
On July 19th, we resubmitted it for review; 
On August 8th, we received major revisions, and we thanked the highly efficient editor and the reviewers for their swift and targeted feedback (12 reviewers invited, 3 accepted, 2 returned reviews with 6 and 7 questions respectively). In addition, the editor emphasized the issues of scope and innovation, and stated that regardless of the subsequent review results, acceptance was not guaranteed but encouraged us to revise for a chance to transfer. After considering the feedback, we all agreed to continue striving, carefully revising and resubmitting. 
On August 21st, we resubmitted and underwent a second review, and we thanked the reviewers for their continued diligence. 
On August 28th, we completed the WeChat update; 
On August 29th (my birthday), the boss notified us: accepted. This was the best and most romantic birthday gift of my life, as it meant that I would soon have my dual doctorate certificates in December.
