The article submitted in June of 24 was received with the first round of revisions in September, and almost every month after that there was a major revision. The article was finally accepted on January 27th, mainly because one reviewer kept bringing up various issues, while the other had said it could be accepted since the third round. In total, the article was revised 5 times, and in the last round we told the editor that we had already made many revisions. The editor then made a decision and accepted the article within 15 minutes of resubmission. It just goes to show that the editor was still good, but the reviewers were quite unpleasant.
