This is a very good journal, it is also a natural index journal. Although there are now a bunch of knockoff versions of inorganic chemistry journals, such as IC communication, IC Front, it is unclear why the Chinese Academy of Sciences classification would place this classic journal in the second tier, while smaller journals are in the first tier. This way, the Chinese Academy of Sciences classification will become less and less authoritative.
