A total of 13 reviewers were invited 4 times, but only one accepted and completed the review. The editor rejected the paper due to insufficient reviewer numbers, but upon returning, they saw that the single reviewer's comments only required minor revisions, which was a bit frustrating. An appeal was made, and a week later, the paper was resubmitted, feeling somewhat fortunate at the time. However, after 3 weeks, only 3 reviewers were invited, none of whom accepted the review, leading to a second rejection.
