Submission in January 2024
After 3 months without assigning reviewers, I followed up
Received a round of review comments in May 2024, with 3 reviewers, one passed, one major revision, and one provided a review report completely unrelated to our work.
It seems like they uploaded the review report for another article to mine. It's very outrageous, the editor has no sense of responsibility, not arranging reviews without reminders, and not even conducting basic checks.
Even more outrageous is that there is no option to withdraw submissions in the system. In May, I told the editor that I had not received any feedback. I thought that not replying to the review comments for a month would automatically cancel the submission. However, at the end of October, we received an email from the editor saying that our manuscript was still in process and asking us to revise based on the review comments from May.
I was completely baffled.
Finally, I asked the editor to cancel our submission, and the editor said it would be canceled within 48 hours. It's been a week now, and it still hasn't been canceled.
It's a very unreasonable journal, and I will not submit to it again.

Articles on high-precision algorithms typically have an average review period of two months, with very professional reviewers. The categorization is accurate and the journal is considered to be quite professional within the field of fluid mechanics.
