It's very frustrating. Submitted at the end of October 24, still pending review. Received reviewer comments around July 2025, requiring major revisions. Returned in September 25, then no news for another six months, being told it's still in the process. Finally received minor revisions on May 1, 2026, only to be rejected by the editor within a week. Appeal was unsuccessful. What a disappointment!!

Research focus: General medical journal experience sharing: The journal has been transferred from the Power Group to Hindawi, becoming an open access journal, but the review period seems to have been extended. I submitted a meta in December last year and completed the quality check in one day, entering the AE INVITED stage, and it has been two months now. I have followed up twice midway, and the editorial department should reply according to the template, but there has been no follow-up.
