It feels like they are very concerned about these small details. The PR process lasted until June 30th before finally being accepted. All authors are from hospitals.

I think IJMS is relatively better than MDPI in terms of discriminating against hospitals. I also work in a hospital and have had both my review and article accepted by IJMS. I feel that journals like Biomolecules and Cells really don't give hospitals any chance at all (my submissions were all desk rejected).

MDPI many journals do not accept submissions from hospitals as units, discriminating against domestic hospitals. Once I was invited to submit an article, I wrote one and it was rejected. Later I just wrote a letter scolding them, their invitations are to complete KPIs. Basically, they do not want Chinese hospitals.
