The review process took a long time, but the paper was accepted directly after review, with one reviewer having no comments and the other reviewer noting that the images were unclear. Why were so many additional experiments requested in the third round? We had already done a lot, and if we were to do all of the requested experiments, it would far exceed what is typically required in the first round.
