In the past few years, submitting to "Chemical Education (Chinese and English)" went smoothly, so I wanted to try JCE. The result was that I submitted in October last year and received an acceptance notice in October this year, including rejection and resubmission, major revision, minor revision, taking a whole year, and going through a total of 5 reviewers. Personally, I feel that in addition to innovative teaching content (which is the core of JCE), editors and reviewers also have high requirements for teaching methods and techniques.

You're just pretending to know, don't think that having an education means you're studying education. In fact, JCE is not defined as an academic journal of education, and it hasn't even entered the SSCI. Professional researchers in chemical education, if they are standard education researchers, definitely won't prioritize this publication. The top journals in this field are the Journal of Research in Science Teaching and Science Education.
