The editor was very efficient, professional, and responsible. Unfortunately, encountered a difficult reviewer which delayed the process by a month. The suggestions provided were not very relevant to the article, but after some hurdles, it was eventually accepted smoothly with only one major revision. There were no additional experiments or re-submissions. The outcome was good enough, hoping for continuous improvement for JCIS.
