Just submitted a new article, transferred from JCLP. First review took over a month, and it was rejected. There were 4 reviewers, and I have to admit their comments were convincing. According to the journal's official account, the acceptance rate this year is only around 10%, with a Citescore of 16... It's really a competitive environment! 

Surely, materials science journals will be a popular choice in the future.

The current predicted impact factor of Xuezhice APP is 8.5!!! It seems that at least it will be in the top 2 of the Chinese Academy of Sciences next year. Thanks to submitting an article this year, otherwise it would be difficult to submit later.

The journal was indexed in ESCI shortly after its launch, and looking at the data trends, it is definitely entering SCI this year. The real-time data for CIteScore in December is 15.2, and it feels like there is potential to become a top journal in the industry. The editorial processing speed is very fast, with high requirements for the quality of article figures and language. Before acceptance, there is a special round of minor revisions to improve figures, tables, and language, as well as confirm various information. The chief editors are from Hong Kong and the United States respectively. Looking forward to breaking the first impact factor of 10.
