My current understanding is that the Chinese Academy of Sciences classifies journals based on the JCR report. Since the new journal has not yet received an impact factor, it cannot be included in the JCR, so it does not have a classification from the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Currently, both the JCR and the Chinese Academy of Sciences are still searching and classifying old journal names. When the new journal receives an impact factor the following year, the old journal names will also be removed. Therefore, the issue of journal recognition may need to be based on the situation of each individual unit.
