I also read the articles in the journal, and it is indeed quite strange. Some articles were accepted in 2021 but only went online in 2024. Some articles were accepted in 2024 and online in less than 4 months or even shorter. Normally, the earlier the acceptance, the earlier the online publication should be, but I don't understand the logic behind it.

The whole process is very slow, and once accepted, it is very fast online, but it takes a long time to be retrieved (about a year for me, or as a result of my urging). Don't hurry if you are in a hurry. Most importantly, there are still page charges, about ten thousand, not collected from the Spring system, nor OA fees, because the article is not OA, it is supposed to be submitted to Wuhan University of Geosciences, similar to Chinese articles, which I don't understand, it feels like it's self-collected fees

The review process is slow, but they want you to make changes quickly. After making the changes, it takes a long time for them to continue reviewing. I checked and found out that the articles published in the first issue of 2023 were actually accepted in 2020. It really wastes a lot of time, and the journal's impact factor is not that great either. It's not even in the top 1-2 quartiles, so it's not worth waiting for.
