2026-05-29 16:27:47 評論於 This time it's unusually slow. The submission was made on December 6th, 2026, and today is May 29th, 2026. There are only two reviewers for the second review, and one reviewer has not completed the review. It seems like they are looking for another reviewer. After the review is completed, they will find another reviewer. The review comments are much more than the previous ones, all related to testing details and experimental procedures. The response to the review comments is forty pages long. It seems like a major revision, with two minor revisions. I am unsure if the paper will be rejected, feeling anxious. I can't afford to wait any longer. It has been over half a year since the submission, the longest submission period. |

2025-08-16 19:57:52 評論於 Submitted on June 24, reviewed in the same month, major revisions in early August, accepted on August 16. The editorial department processes manuscripts very quickly. The time for the review process is mainly influenced by the reviewers. I have been submitting to this journal since 2021 and have had articles accepted every year. Compared to other journals, the efficiency of the Food Engineering Journal is still relatively fast. |

It took half a month to review and one month to accept. If reviewers were found at the beginning, it would probably be faster. During my PhD, a total of six papers were submitted from the lab and all were rejected. Finally, I published one after graduation. Unfortunately, it is now in the second tier of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, hoping to return to the top tier next year. |
