The review process is not as slow as some netizens have said. I submitted my paper in mid-August and received feedback in mid-September, with one month for revisions. After the National Day holiday, I received the revised version, which was accepted within a week. However, the publication process is a bit slow. The paper was posted online on October 24, 2024, and is still in the publication process as of January 3, 2025. Please hurry up with the publication, thank you!

After finding two reviewers, the first one completed the review, but the second one did not respond. After waiting for 6 months, a third reviewer was found for minor revisions.
After submitting the revised version, a fourth reviewer was found for major revisions.
Before it could be submitted, the editor requested further revisions, but the feedback from the fourth reviewer was blank. After sending an email, the feedback was received and the revised version was submitted on the same day.
After waiting for a month, the manuscript was sent for review again, with reviewers 5, 6, and 7 being found.
The seventh reviewer suggested for the manuscript to be resubmitted after three rounds of revisions.
On 2024.7.16, after a year of the submission process, the manuscript was rejected.

I will share my submission experience. I submitted to JAAP in the same field two months ago, but it was rejected after the initial review. Then I added a chart and made some changes to my submission before sending it to JIEC. I didn't have much hope because the research group only accepted 2 out of 11 submissions each year, and they didn't publish many articles. However, my advisor suggested giving it a try, so I did.
On 2/25, I submitted the paper to the journal. On 2/28, it was sent to the editor. On 3/1, it went under review. On 3/26, it entered the revise and resubmit stage (rrc). I am currently waiting for the outcome and hoping for a positive result. This paper has been rejected twice before – the first time I submitted to a SCI journal in hopes of encountering a lenient reviewer
