Overall, the assistant editor is very responsible. He replies to emails within two days and the review process is fast, with feedback received within a month. The first round of revisions had over 20 suggestions from three reviewers, all of whom were very meticulous and even pointed out errors in the title. During my final revision, one reviewer had not responded for a month, possibly due to the New Year holiday. The assistant editor escalated the case to the editor-in-chief, who ultimately decided to accept the submission.

The submission system is too outdated, and I cannot see the progress of the manuscript.
Other than that, the submission experience is okay, the reviewers are fairly responsible, and the questions raised show that they reviewed the manuscript seriously.
The quality of the journal is average, so I submitted my moderately innovative work to this journal since I couldn't find a better one.
I submitted in 2024, and they are going to start charging in 2025, so I will not consider submitting here in the future.

Personal experience:
It took nearly 9 months from submission to acceptance, with one revision during the process. The first review took about 4-5 months, and the second review took about 3-4 months.
Objective evaluation:
This journal has medium quality, with some level of reputation in the field of operations research and optimization. It has an ABS1 rating, but a low Impact Factor, consistently ranking in JCRQ3 and in the fourth quartile of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Based on personal submission experience, the journal is considered responsible. Inquiries about progress are usually promptly responded to, and there is no complete disregard for communication.
In terms of manuscript quality, both the editors and reviewers are diligent. The innovation of the articles does not necessarily have to meet the standards of the first or second quartile of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, but overall manuscript quality must be ensured.
Personally, this journal is at the level of the third quartile of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, but consistently ranks in the fourth quartile, so the cost-effectiveness is not high.
Additionally, starting from 2025, they began charging a fee of 1000 USD per article, further reducing cost-effectiveness.
It is recommended for those preparing to submit, before submitting, to first consider their own articles. If it is purely superficial, such as replicating others' methods and making minor changes without any contribution, then it is probably not suitable for this journal and is unlikely to be accepted.
