The speed of this journal is a mystery. My senior and fellow students received their acceptance within one and a half to two and a half months. The articles published in this journal also took about the same amount of time. However, I have not received any news after over three months. This journal is quite famous in the field of nuclear science and technology. The current progress of my submission is as follows: submitted on January 25, 2025; first email: the editor said acceptance needed to be changed to a technical report on February 19, 2025. After agreeing, it took 9 days to receive the first review comments for major revisions, which was on February 28, 2025. The revised manuscript was sent back on March 18, 2025, and as of April 28, 2025, I have not yet received the second review comments. I have sent two reminders, but both times received vague responses saying the editor is still making a decision, and I do not know when the acceptance will be received.
