In fact, after two rounds of review, the first round (about two weeks) had two positive reviews and one negative review. One reviewer suggested acceptance, one suggested minor revisions for acceptance, and one raised questions about the methodology, data, and practicality. Professor Wang Rong rejected the manuscript but provided an opportunity for resubmission. The revised manuscript was resubmitted on July 31. On August 15, the reviewer comments were received, still with two positive reviews and one negative review. Two reviewers suggested direct acceptance, while the third reviewer, not specialized in my subfield, raised many fundamental questions and suggested rejection (which I found inexplicable). Fortunately, the questions raised by the rejecting reviewer were easily addressed, and Professor Wang Rong provided two weeks for revisions. Ultimately, the manuscript was successfully accepted, albeit with some excitement.

As a top journal in the field of membrane separation, the Journal of Membrane Science has always been a benchmark in my mind. For this reason, I continuously strive to learn, even to the point of tears under immense pressure. Even when on vacation at home, I would pace around seeking solutions alone. Finally, my hard work paid off, and I was able to live up to my own expectations and those of the people who care about me. I am also very grateful for the recognition of my work by the reviewers and Professor Wang Rong.
