Warning!!! Not recommended for submission! I submitted my paper on July 19th, and as of September 4th, it is still listed as "Editorial assignment", with no editor assigned yet!! I have sent three reminder emails to the editorial office during this period, but have not received any response or update. This is the most bizarre journal experience I have ever had.

I am now considering sending a letter to the editor requesting to withdraw my submission, but I am unsure if I will even receive a reply. If I do not receive a response, I am confused as to whether submitting to another journal at this time would be considered duplicate submission. This situation is wasting my time.
