The first review took more than 40 days, and then requested major revisions. It was returned within a month, just a few days before the deadline. However, it was sent back to the original reviewer and after another month, there was still no feedback. When checking the status, it was said that feedback would be provided within a month, but why haven't I received any feedback after more than a month? Has anyone experienced the same situation? From submission to initial acceptance took 84 days, with 36 days spent on my own revisions. It could have been faster if I had not procrastinated. The editor was very helpful, with the first submission resulting in one reviewer rejecting it and one accepting it, leading to major revisions. The subsequent two revisions addressed the first reviewer's concerns, with the third revision being necessary due to a small oversight on my part. The third revision could have been avoided if everything had been done correctly in the first place. Overall, if everything had gone smoothly, it could have been accepted in less than two months.
