The German editor processed the manuscript quite quickly, even working on it on a Sunday.
I didn't submit to journals like BB or SNB in the field of analytical chemistry, but decided to try AC after making revisions, and unexpectedly AC sent it for review.
I feel that AC is relatively open to research in niche areas, and values innovation.

A very bad experience. I submitted in February and the status hasn't changed at all. It was a terrible submission experience. When I logged into the system after two months, I saw that they had asked for a resubmission a month ago, but they didn't send an email notification, so I wasted a month for nothing.
