On May 24th, the JACS editor is too biased now. The research on inorganic excited states was assigned to a deputy editor, and she is really stupid. The manuscript has been under editorial review for 10 days, and on the last day, they casually found an excuse to reject it in a pretentious manner. According to the past practice, it would have been better to send it for review early or reject it to avoid wasting time.

Unbelievable!!!
In the first round of review, with three reviewers and three minor revisions, all in the top 5%.
But the associate editor played tricks and actually rejected the paper.
After a month of appeal, sending five appeal emails, with no response at all, this operation is so amateur!
