The editing quality and speed are really disappointing. I hate you jtm. I waited for a month for a response, followed up for three and a half months, and sent two or three emails asking the editor to find reviewers, but received no response. After wasting four and a half months, I had no choice but to withdraw the submission, and the assistant editor responded immediately. With no other options, I submitted to Nutrients under mdpi. I thought the topic was not too niche (the paper has already been cited five or six times in less than five months after publication), so why was it so difficult to find reviewers? I couldn't find a single one! I deeply suspect that the editor did not properly invite reviewers, as their attitude was extremely negative. Recently jtm has been promoted and the impact factor has increased, which really saddens me. Even if they had rejected me after the initial review, I would have been okay with it.
