The quality control of this journal is relatively strict. Our research group had two submissions rejected before. It seems that the journal aims to be on par with international journals and reach Q2 in the Chinese Academy of Sciences rankings. This article was revised for three months after submission, but was accepted within one month. Additionally, the editor will ask you to shorten the article to save costs. The journal has low requirements for the initial manuscript format, which is very convenient and unlike many other journals with a lot of red tape.

The initial review was sent for external review in just 4 days. It returned after two months, but the chief editor rejected it. The review comments did not propose any fatal issues that required major revisions, but it is possible that the chief editor was simply not interested in the topic. The research group, including myself, had two consecutive rejections.

Posted on June 22nd, today is June 26th and it is still in the submission status to the editorial department. It feels a bit slow. Can any experienced users share the recent review speed?

The review period is 2 months. This journal is so strange. They not only provide review comments but also a scoring system from 0 to 10 for 5 different aspects. Surprisingly, they don't even look at the review comments. Both of my reviewers wrote many comments, mostly about language, long sentences, and grammar. At most, they suggested major revisions. However, the editor didn't consider the review comments at all and only looked at the scores. My originality score was 7, and in the end, my paper was rejected. It's frustrating. I wasted over two months, and this domestic journal is not responsible.
