After enduring countless hardships, I finally managed to receive acceptance before graduation. I don't know if any of my fellow classmates have experienced the same anticipation and anxiety as me before. Here, I would like to share my experience with everyone:

- September 29, 2025: Submitted manuscript
- October 11, 2025: External review (waited anxiously for over five months, with the status date changing six times)
- March 20, 2026: Major revisions (received 17 comments from two reviewers, very professional)
- March 24, 2026: Revised manuscript (rushed due to nearing graduation, stayed up three consecutive nights to make revisions)
- April 6, 2026: Second round of review, minor revisions (three additional comments mainly focused on the introduction)
- April 8, 2026: Revisions
- April 13, 2026: Decision in Principle (DIP), accepted on April 16th

The whole process lasted six months, during which I had to check the submission website countless times every day. It was truly agonizing, but the final outcome was positive. From submission to acceptance took a little over two months. It took about half a month online, not in a low-tier journal. There were two reviewers and they provided 40 comments. It was difficult to respond to the reviewers' comments. The main body of the article was 7000 words, and the response to the reviewers was nearly 8000 words. The article was accepted by the editor the next day after sending the response. It's a great achievement, being my first SCI paper. Unfortunately, it was downgraded to a fourth-tier journal this year. Fourth-tier doesn't really have much significance.
