It is indeed a bit slow. I was accepted after a rejection and resubmission, and the final article showed a faster time because the date before the rejection and resubmission was not included. Haha, the first review also took more than 2 months. After the rejection and resubmission, it may be that the previous reviewers all accepted the revisions quickly, so it went faster. The whole process took 7-8 months.

Are you rejected or not? The speed of these two status changes. Decision Letter Being Prepared - Editorial Evaluation - Editor. These two states change instantly is the modification (initial investment). If it takes more than a few hours, it is probably rejected.

After 75 days, they told me that the medical image classification did not fit within the scope and the readers were not interested, suggesting to submit elsewhere. After being under review for two months, I thought it was being reviewed, but it turned out to be a desk reject. My suggestion is to reject it earlier to allow me to submit to the next journal.
