About two weeks after submitting, I contacted Elsevier customer service to inquire about the editor, but they did not provide the information. However, they mentioned that they would contact the editor to expedite the process.

The rejection letter was interesting, as the editor stated, "I regret to inform you that the reviewers recommend against publishing your manuscript, and I must therefore reject it. My comments, and any reviewer comments, are below." However, the subsequent editor and reviewer comments did not include any feedback from the reviewer.

Lastly, I would like to ask if it is possible to choose the editor when submitting to this journal. If anyone is interested in knowing the assigned editor for this submission, please feel free to leave a message.

I saw this comment before making the decision to submit. I was torn between MJ and MA, thinking it shouldn't be so unlucky. I submitted to MJ, but after three months of being under review with no reviewers, I withdrew the submission and submitted to MA. Hopefully everything goes smoothly!

The first SCI paper in the first year of graduate school, which is a review article. I submitted it without being invited, and initially there were many issues. The reviewers were gentle but raised 6+12 sharp questions. Probably because they saw I was a beginner, they didn't reject it outright. 

I spent two months rewriting the entire article and responded to over a dozen comments. After revisions, the editor accepted it directly. ACA transferred over in October 24th.
After two months of review, six reviewers made major revisions with a total of 80 questions, but most of them were easily addressed. It took three weeks to supplement data and revise the article.
One month later, minor revisions were made. Five reviewers agreed to accept the paper, while one reviewer raised some formatting issues that were addressed and resubmitted.
Thinking that the paper would be accepted directly, it was sent for review again, leaving us speechless.
It is important to be cautious when rushing the publication of an article!
