Regarding electron microscopy, the first review takes 2 months, with minor revisions accepted afterwards. The publication timeline is longer, about 6 months after submission for more specialized electron microscopes, which are now in the first quartile. There are also some anatomical articles related to optical microscopes. However, there are fewer articles on material characterization, resulting in a lower impact factor, but it does not prevent it from being the second best microscopy journal at present.
