I submitted a manuscript to this journal (MTAP-D-22-04501) and although more than 500 days have passed, there has been only one reviewer return. I wrote to the journal and Springer Nature many times (Ticket IDs [#8490571, #8523902], #8490571), they kept saying they would speed it up etc. But they were never interested.  Open access articles on similar topics were published in a few months. Finally, I had to withdraw my paper when I finally gave up hope.
