A very good journal, under the European Renal Association, currently in the second quartile with an impact factor of 8. The review process is very fast, taking less than 2 months from submission to major revision to acceptance. Just submitted and already under review, the initial review results are usually given within 3 days after submission. When "under review" and "awaiting EIC decision" appear simultaneously, it means the manuscript is sent for external review. Both reviewers are very professional and familiar with my research direction, one of them seems to be part of a clinical trial collaboration group in this field, and the questions raised are very helpful. Wish the journal continuous success!

The clinical study was submitted on September 5th, 2025 and rejected on September 7th, 2025. The reason for rejection was that the editor felt that the single-center small sample size was not convincing enough and lacked innovation. The rejection was quick, and my heart was broken quickly as well.
