The manuscript was submitted in Nov 2023 and under review since Mar 2024. Despite repeated emails, the only reply is that it is “still under review” and they are “looking for reviewers,” with no real updates. It has now been over a year in review and more than two years since submission. This prolonged delay, coupled with vague communication, has harmed my PhD progress and left parts of the work outdated. It is still under review and there has been no decision.
