Submitted to acceptance took 5 months. The longest time was spent on the first round with the editor, which took 2 months. Because the project was quite urgent, I had to follow up three times before it was finally sent for review. I even considered withdrawing the submission, but surprisingly it was still sent for review.

Then I had two reviewers, both of whom provided very good feedback. It should be the best revised paper I have ever done.

Finally, it was accepted smoothly! Thank you! And it just happened to coincide with the project defense in the middle of next month!!
