Recently, I submitted a paper to a special issue (VSI: PR_Evaluate4Science) of the Pattern Recognition journal, which is currently under external review. However, I noticed that the call for papers for this special issue can no longer be found on the journal's official website, and there is no relevant information in the special issue list.
Have any of you had a similar experience? How do you usually handle this situation?
