Submitted on July 6th, feedback received on August 7th, made serious revisions, resubmitted one month later, waited anxiously. Received feedback again 20 days later, one sentence was not satisfying for the reviewer (I still believe my wording was correct), editor said to make minor revisions and accept it directly. Returned the next day, thinking the editor would accept it directly, but unexpectedly it went back to the reviewer again for over two weeks. Finally accepted. The magazine is indeed very profound.

The paper received a rejection and resubmission decision, with both reviewers agreeing that it can be accepted pending revisions. The reviewers requested for a more rigorous calculation and additional details. The paper involves first-principles calculations using AIMD. This is the highest-ranked journal that I can submit to, even though it is only in the second or third quartile. I am still very happy about it. After revising according to the reviewers' comments, I will resubmit to PCCP and hope for good luck.
