June 25th, after correcting formatting errors, requested abstract to be within 200 words, additional contact information for corresponding author, resubmit.
July 2nd, with editor, desk rejected the same day.
The reason was somewhat ridiculous: due to a surge in submissions over the past two years, the editorial department is no longer accepting papers on fault diagnosis or signal processing journals, suggested to submit to MSSP instead... Editor probably didn't like it, feeling sad, wondering if any fellow researchers have had similar experiences. At least the rejection efficiency is quite fast, right?
