I have submitted RSE several times, and this time finally received positive feedback from the external review. In the first round of reviews, three reviewers provided over 20 comments, to which I responded with over 50 pages of revisions, essentially rewriting most of the main text. After the first round of revisions, I received a second round of comments, which I decided to accept. However, I then received a few more comments in a third round. Luckily, I managed to get the paper published in RSE just before graduating with my Ph.D.

Overall the process is going well, but there is a significant difference in the reviewers' opinions, with one rejecting and the other three suggesting minor revisions. The reviewers are very responsible and provide valuable feedback. In the end, the editor mentioned that there were too many areas that needed to be changed and therefore rejected the submission but encouraged resubmission. I will make the necessary revisions and hopefully be accepted smoothly next time!

As one of the top journals in the field of remote sensing, RSE's reputation and article quality in recent years are widely recognized. After researching the topic for four to five years, despite being rejected two years ago, the editor-in-chief Marie Weiss provided constructive feedback and direction. After two years of effort, the submission was finally accepted by the editors and reviewers. Best wishes for the continued success of the journal!

There were a total of three reviewers, three rounds of revisions, with major revisions in the first two rounds and acceptance in the final round. Each round of review took 2-3 months, with the same amount of time given for revisions. The editor-in-chief and associate editors responded quickly after each submission, with changes typically made within a week. All three reviewers and the associate editors were professional and emphasized the innovation and rigor of the work.
