This journal has been very slow recently. I submitted it in March last year and received feedback in mid-July this year. There were two rounds of revisions in between. The first round of feedback was received in October of the 25th year, and it took almost 4 months to receive the second round of feedback. The second round of revisions was completed in April of the 26th year, and it was finally accepted in July. So slow.

The invitation cycle is related to the editors. Some editors will send out invitations immediately after finding no one has accepted, while others will procrastinate until they remember (which can be frustrating, and we don't dare to rush them). Typically, two reviewers will be invited for the first time, and if no one accepts, more invitations will be sent out. Reviewers who accept can provide one or two opinions, and a decision can be made based on either one. If the opinions are conflicting, the manuscript will be sent out for further review, or if the reviews are positive, the decision may be made to proceed with major or minor revisions. Currently, the submission process is going well, and the journal has a good reputation, so the review rate is still acceptable. Just wait patiently and calmly, as many times manuscripts are rejected by the editors directly.
