Thank you to this journal for saving my life. My school requires me to publish a paper before graduation. It took 20 days for the first review and 24 days for the second review (I seriously suspect that the reviewers went home for the Chinese New Year). The result of the second review was just minor revisions, so there is no need for the reviewers to review it again. I just received it today and I don't know how many days it will take to find out.

Finally, my paper was accepted by another journal. Thinking about how this journal delayed me for 4 months, I feel like I just saw someone not flushing the toilet.

This journal is absolutely terrible. I see some people getting accepted in just 3 months, and they usually make a decision on revisions within a month. I thought I had discovered a hidden gem of a journal, but it turns out it's just obscure. The journal is very arrogant, with a quick turnaround for review - usually on the same day. However, they don't review your manuscript and just delay for 2 months. And if you inquire about the status, they will reject your paper the next week. If they want to reject it, they should do it quickly, but they don't. They keep you waiting and act very superior. It's annoying, and the journal has very low impact, with only about 120 articles published per year. About 10 per month. Change journals and don't submit to this one. I submitted to this journal twice and had the same experience both times. The first time I submitted at the end of June, and by September there was still no response. When I asked, they said they were on vacation, and then the next week they rejected my paper and even insulted me (saying my writing style was ugly). The second time was on October 6th, and the same thing happened - they rejected it without a valid reason (they made up reasons, claiming I only used public datasets for simulation and algorithms, which didn't meet their requirements). I laughed because I actually used my own dataset and publicly available datasets for validation. They don't even read the articles, and their rejections and reviews are very arbitrary. The reasons for rejection are not convincing at all.

It was still with editor one month after submitted to this journal, so I urged the manuscript, but immediately it changed to the status of waiting for reviewers, but this status has lasted for a week without any change. Now I don’t know if the journal is simply not changing the status, the actual review process is already going, or the actual status is the same as the system status. After the submission, I found I was fooled by it. It took more than a year form acceptance to publication.
