Hi, at the beginning of the year, I submitted a paper, and just the next day after submission, one reviewer rejected it. Then, a month later, the second reviewer gave a major revision recommendation, but the editor-in-chief rejected it directly. Looking back now, I am glad it wasn't taken by the general editor, otherwise it would have been a waste of time. Thank you to the reviewers for their foresight! Later, this rejected paper was submitted to another journal and got accepted.
