On the 8th, I received the review comments, which required major revisions. Basically, they were all minor issues related to grammar and expression, so the problems were not significant. Since it was a reject and resubmit, I had already conducted many additional experiments before and made revisions for over 4 months. Therefore, there are basically no more experiments that can be added in this round.

Without a rejection, I can finally feel at ease. As a small and insignificant figure in the research field, with no background in science and having changed to numerous research directions, the first aquaculture paper was a bit challenging. However, I finally achieved a good result, and the acceptance is just around the corner!

Tracking the status through the email link provided by the corresponding author, at least 3-4 reviewers have completed their reviews. Now, we are anxiously waiting for the announcement of the review results. Nervous~~

It feels like four reviewers have accepted the invitation, with submissions due by January 7th. Two reviewers completed their reviews by January 30th, but the editor has not provided any feedback yet. Do we have to wait for all reviewers to give their feedback? Praying, praying.

Submission in August, with two reviewers taking a month to give feedback - one rejection and one minor revision. The editor summarily rejected the paper based on the reviewers' comments, but allowed for resubmission. Four months later, after conducting additional experiments and addressing all feedback, the revised paper was submitted again. The editor was efficient in handling the resubmission and the paper quickly entered the review process, with both reviewers seemingly accepting it. The final outcome remains uncertain. Personally, I feel that the article should be accepted with minor revisions. It's my first paper in aquaculture, so it's been quite challenging. Keeping my fingers crossed for good luck.

Submission on August 13, 2024. During the summer vacation, the teachers may have all taken time off, and it wasn't until October that someone agreed to review the manuscript.

Feedback received on December 4, 2024, requiring major revisions. The second reviewer took two months to provide feedback.

Revised manuscript submitted on December 17, 2024.

Accepted on December 27, 2024. Only one reviewer provided feedback for the second round, which was deemed acceptable, and the editor accepted it directly, probably because they couldn't wait any longer.
