If it exceeds ten pages, the editor will ask you to revise. To save time, it is recommended to ensure that it is within ten pages when submitting (the last page can only contain references). If the manuscript contains a lot of content and cannot be compressed to within ten pages even with effort, consider reducing the font size to fit within ten pages.

When I submitted it 24 years later, it was already in the second half of the year. After going through content deletions and possibly rewrites, I was finally accepted in March of 25th year after 5 rounds of revisions, luck was not on my side. There were also several changes in the reviewers throughout the process, with the last two rounds being reviewed by the same group of reviewers.
