Sharing of submission to International Journal of Endocrinology: 1. It is difficult to invite editors for this journal. After submitting for 2 months without being invited by the editor, an email was sent to urge the journal. The editor was assigned and the review process was very fast on the same day. 2. After receiving the first review, there was only one reviewer with relatively easy to address comments. No major changes were needed, and the revision was completed after 20 days. 3. After the first revision, the status immediately changed to Under Review, and 2 days later the reviewer completed the review. It continued to show Pending Approval status for over a month, with only date changes during this time. The journal sent an email stating that it may require 2 reviewers for review. The second review email stated that the first reviewer agreed to publish, a new reviewer provided minor revision comments, which were easily addressed. It is assumed that the changes in the Pending Approval period should be on 6.28 (Reviewers Invited invited reviewers), 7.5 (Under review reviewers accept and review), 7.31 (Pending Approval reviewer feedback). 4. After the second revision, the status continued to show Pending Approval for almost a month, suggesting that the editor may have been on vacation. An email was sent to urge the editor after two weeks, stating that reviewers had been invited. The date was updated close to one month, and the next day, the format check editor sent an email stating that the reference format was incorrect and required modification. After making the changes, three emails were received the next day: 1 acceptance, 2 submission of correct format manuscripts, images and tables within the system, 3 payment of page fees. It is assumed that the second revision was not sent to the second reviewer for review, and the editor decided to accept it directly. The revised manuscript was resubmitted through the system and the page fees were paid on the same day as the email was sent.
