Don't rush to criticize. My situation is that after sending it for external review, there has been no progress for over 2 months. I have sent emails to urge for updates but have been rejected, not ignored. The fact that there was no response to the rejection from external review is, in my opinion, unprofessional. As for mentioning Indians, I was simply stating a fact that most journal customer service representatives are Indian. It is also a fact that customer service replies are all template responses, with the same wording for different authors and no changes in punctuation.

The overall efficiency of the journal is relatively high, and the editors will reply to emails promptly. I work with point clouds and initially submitted to the IEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observation and Remote Sensing. However, it was rejected by J-star. After making the revisions based on J-star's feedback, I submitted to this journal instead (after all, it has a higher impact factor).

After submission, it stayed with the editor for half a month, then underwent external review for a month. After receiving the revisions, it took me a month to complete them, and after submitting again, it took around 10 days for the reviewers to complete their review. It was directly accepted for publication.

The journal is relatively friendly to beginners and novices. I recommend beginners and novices to submit their work here.
